Background:Chemotherapy-inducedperipheralneuropathy(CIPN)isthemaindose-limitingsideeffectofneurotoxicchemotherapeuticagents.CIPNcanleadnotonlytolossofphysicalfunction,difficultiesinactivitiesofdailyliving(ADLs),anddecreasedqualityoflife,butalsotodosereductionordelayorevencessationoftreatment.Currently,therearefewproveneffectivetreatmentsforCIPN.ThisrandomizedcontrolledclinicaltrialisdesignedtoevaluatetheeffectsandsafetyofElectroacupuncture(EA)forpatientswithCIPN.

背景：化疗后外周神经痛（CIPN）是神经毒性化疗药物主要的副作用，且这些副作用具有剂量依赖性。CIPN不仅会造成身体机能功能的减退，造成日常活动困难进而引起生活质量下降，而且还会影响治疗，甚至使治疗不得不停止。目前，很少有公认有效的针对此病的治疗手段。因此，我们设计这个随机对照试验来评价电针对CIPN患者的疗效和安全性。

MethodsandDesign:Thisisamulticenter,two-armed,parallel-design,patient-assessorblinded,randomized,sham-controlledclinicaltrial.FortyeligiblepatientswithCIPNwillberandomizedinaratioof1:1totheEAorshamEAarms.Duringthetreatmentphase,patientswillundergo8sessionsofverumEAorshamEAtwiceweeklyfor4weeks,andthenwillbefollowed-upfor8weeks.ElectricalstimulationintheEAgroupwillconsistofamixedfrequencyof/10Hzand80%ofbearableintensity.ShamEAwillbeappliedtonon-acupoints,withshallowneedleinsertionandnocurrent.Allout
